Siamo la compagnia Il Sugo, nata a Milano nel 2021, apolide negli orizzonti. Composta da Giovanni Spadaro-Norella, Federico Pinna, Francesca Pinna, Alessandro Manfredi. Nasciamo all'interno della Scuola Teatro Arsenale dove ci siamo diplomati nel 2021. Ci lega quello che il fondatore del metodo pedagogico di riferimento della scuola, Jacques Lecoq, definisce fondo poetico comune: ovvero un linguaggio artistico condiviso da cui poter attingere nella creazione per la scena; linguaggio che abbiamo forgiato durante i due anni della nostra formazione, sul quale ora poggiamo le basi per la costruzione del nostro immaginario. All'attivo abbiamo un’esperienza lavorativa internazionale per l'ambasciata italiana del Burkina Faso dalla quale siamo stati ingaggiati per prendere parte - in rappresentazione dell'Italia - alle attività del Festival International de Théâtre et de Marionnettes de Ouagadougou (F.I.T.M.O.). Qui abbiamo presentato il nostro spettacolo Amour, violence et rêve en sept tableaux rivolto per l'occasione a un pubblico di lingua francese e adattabile a un pubblico di qualunque idioma. Questa esperienza è stata estremamente formativa sia da un punto di vista artistico che umano, oltre che un'irripetibile occasione di incontro e condivisione di culture e linguaggi teatrali lontani dal nostro. In seguito al profondo scambio e il successo del nostro lavoro con il pubblico burkinabè, crediamo che la nostra identità debba e possa essere definita da una cifra internazionale.

We are the company Il Sugo, born in Milan in 2021, stateless in horizons. Formed by Giovanni Spadaro-Norella, Federico Pinna, Francesca Pinna, Alessandro Manfredi. We were born within the Arsenale Theater School where we graduated in 2021. We are linked by what the founder of the school's reference pedagogical method, Jacques Lecoq, defines as a common poetic fund: that is a shared artistic language from which we can draw on in creation for the scene; language that we forged during the two years of our training, on which we now lay the foundations for the construction of our imagination. We have an international working experience for the Italian embassy of Burkina Faso from which we were hired to take part - as a representation of Italy - in the activities of the Festival International de Théâtre et de Marionnettes de Ouagadougou (F.I.T.M.O.). Here we presented our show Amour, violence et rêve en sept tableaux aimed for the occasion at a French-speaking audience and adaptable to an audience of any language. This experience was extremely formative both from an artistic and a human point of view, as well as an unrepeatable opportunity to meet and share theatrical cultures and languages ​​far from ours. Following the profound exchange and the success of our work with the Burkinabe public, we believe that our identity must and can be internationally oriented.
